SSI Payment May: When Will The Payments Be Deposited?

SSI Payment May: Along with your regular May payment, which should have arrived on Wednesday the 1st, another Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payment is on its way.

We’ll explain why you’re receiving two payments this month and when you can expect the additional deposit.

Blind people, seniors, and people with disabilities can get SSI benefits from the Social Security Administration.

Monthly SSI payments are usually disbursed on the first of each month, but weekends and holidays may cause exceptions.

This year, June payments will be issued a day early on Friday, May 31 due to June 1 falling on a Saturday.

Here are the dates for SSI payments for the remainder of 2024 for those new to receiving benefits or considering applying for SSI.

Dates of upcoming SSI payments (via direct deposit):

• Friday, May 31 (for June)

• Monday, July 1

• Thursday, Aug. 1

• Friday, Aug. 30 (for September)

• Tuesday, Oct. 1

• Friday, Nov. 1

• Friday, Nov. 29 (for December)
