A Social media post by Fargo-Moorhead SALES AND MORE. The post started getting attention in the Red River Valley. The post says “HELP FIND HIM – 36-year-old Brian Posch went missing yesterday morning here in #Moorhead. His truck was found last night with his baby girl inside but unfortunately, there is still no sign of him. He is 5/9″ and 165 lbs. A silver alert has been issued for Keith who is considered to possible be in EXTREME danger and in need of medical assistance. We are asking for the community’s help. ONLY TAKES 2 SECONDS to share…”

But the police have said to be aware of these because it is a fake post. The man who is in this post is Brian Posh the incident is 4 months old and his body was found 4 days later drowned in the river Monongahela with his truck. Local communities have posted a warning that if you see this post don’t share it but report it.

The local community gave out notice that: If you see a post saying that Brian Posch is missing, do not share! Instead, report the post to the group administrator. It is a scam. Sadly, Brian Posch is dead. He went missing on April 5, and his body was found four days later. We feel so awful for his family who have to see this scam being posted repeatedly. These scammers are sick.”
When Posh died a fundraiser was organized to support his family which has collected $57, 587 to support his family which includes his wife and 1-year-old daughter.
