However, it all depends on how much a person is helplessness which can be rated from 0% to 100% depends on the condition.
If a soldier gets a rating of 100%, the VA may also be defined as are they totally and permanently disabled, which will determine that they will get benefits for lifetime.
For all other cases, the VA checks in on a regular basis to see if the applicant still needs money.

Do VA benefits last a lifetime?
As long as the recipient’s condition persists, they will continue to receive VA disability benefits. The VA may stop paying, though, if it finds that the disease has gotten better or gone away.

In the exam, the patient’s medical history is looked over and a simple physical exam is done. If the individual keeps getting benefits, it will depend on the outcome of the C&P.
Experts say you should talk to a lawyer who specializes in VA Benefits for C&P because you can fight and overturn the decision if the VA decides to end your benefits.
