Tropical Storm Debby Will Hit Virginia: On Thursday, early morning parts of 95 Interstate were shut down as the tropical storm was heading towards North Carolina which is about 35 miles southeast of Raleigh

Hurricane Debby caused serious damage to life and property, when Debby hit land again overnight it formed tornadoes that killed one person, flooded a town and destroyed houses and schools in North Carolina.

According to the official reports, around six people have been killed till now because of the tropical storm Debby.

The storm was supposed to hit the East Coast hard, where citizens staying as far north as Vermont could experience heavy rainfall.

The National Hurricane Center reported Debby struck land early on Thursday morning near Bulls Bay, South Carolina.

On Monday, after hurricane Debby made first landfall in Florida as Category 1 it caused severe rainfall in parts of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. The heavy rains have caused rivers to swollen, waterlogged several roads, huge traffic, and downed several houses.

However, in the future, the region is likely to experience potentially severe heat, which could make the recovery process much more difficult.

Several parts of eastern South Carolina and southeast North Carolina are still flooded from the Debby strike. As the storm moves north, it could rain around 3 to 9 inches (8 to 23) which could cause terror and huge fear for people living in the mountains of Virginia as high chances of flash flooding.

According to the weather forecast, as tropical storm Debby is moving towards North Carolina it may cause big tornadoes in parts of North Carolina and Virginia on Thursday. North Carolina had at least three tornadoes overnight.

As the storm moves toward the Northeast, it will cause even more chaos. On early Thursday morning, the National Weather Service reported that Debby had caused at least 11 tornadoes.
On Wednesday night, A 50-mph storm hit land near Bulls Bay, South Carolina, and started to pick up speed and became more strong on Thursday morning.

Currently, the storm is moving toward North Carolina and will reach it by Thursday evening but it’s getting weaker. By Friday morning, it will reach northern Virginia, and in the evening it will get strong and go through Pennsylvania and New York.

By Saturday afternoon it will reach New England. It will bring severe rains and heavy flash flooding to areas that it will strike.
