Who Is Ratan Tata?
Ratan Tata is an Indian businessman, philanthropist, and former chairman of Tata Sons, one of the largest conglomerates in India. He was conceived on December 28, 1937, in Mumbai, India, into an entrepreneurial family. Tata is renowned for his business savvy and commitment to charitable initiatives.
Ratan Tata’s grandfather, Jamshedji Tata, was the founder of the Tata Group, which started as a trading company in the mid-19th century and later expanded into steel, automobiles, hotels, and other industries. Ratan Tata studied at the Campion School in Mumbai and then went to the United States to study architecture at Cornell University. Order of Award in Australia
