The Social Security Administration (SSA) makes payments based on the recipient’s birthday.
All payments fall on the same day every month, regardless of the month.
According to the SSA, SSI resources are distributed on the 1st of each month.
The beneficiary who receives Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) will receive this payment on the 3rd of every month at 12:01 a.m.

When will this month’s SSI checks be deposited?
If the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, the deposit is brought forward to the immediately preceding business day, which means beneficiaries will receive two deposits in May.
As June 1 falls on a Saturday, the SSA will make the payment on Friday, May 31.
SSA recommends waiting three more mailing days and contacting your bank if you do not receive your payment by the scheduled date. The problem may not be with your bank, so go to the SSA office nearest you.
As a consequence of the small increase in Social Security benefits, nearly three in five seniors report struggling financially as food, rent, and medical care remain unaffordable.
During July, August, and September, Social Security changes are calculated based on the consumer price index for urban wage earners and clerical workers, or the CPI-W.
