Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre Open Up About Their Friendship: Snoop Dog is one the most famous artists in the country and he is famous for I am the boss attitude. But Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are more than just a professional collaboration, they are brothers.  Snoop Dog hugely respects and trusts Dr. Dre.

During the interview with the Capital XTRA, The Iconic Duo opened up about their friendship and brotherhood “Dr. Dre has always been a big brother and mentor to me,” Snoop Dog said. “He taught me professionalism, how to separate from the hood, and focus on business ventures. He’s always looking forward, not dwelling on past achievements.”

“He’s always had the attitude and spirit of ‘I don’t care about what I’ve made, it’s all about what I’m about to make.’ And that’s a good spirit that I’ve taken from him,” Snoop added “I don’t even know how many albums I’ve made since I started, but it’s always about what’s next, what’s best.”

Snoop explained how they became like brother throughout the year. The duo recently teamed up with Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop. Snoops first came into the spotlight after appearing in Deep Cover in 1992 which was also Dr. Dre’s debut single. Then later in 1993, Dre produced Snoops’s debut album The ‘ Doggystyle’ and a memorable performance at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.

“He’s always had the attitude and spirit of ‘I don’t care about what I’ve made, it’s all about what I’m about to make.” Snoop continued Praising Dr. Dre “I say that, and I really mean that, because outside of Dr. Dre, I’m like the boss; I’m the one who has to call the shots at creating, make sure and all this. When I’m with him, I can just be an artist, I can just be Snoop Dogg.”

Dr. Dre responded to Snoop’s Statement  “It takes a massive amount of trust to be in this position to let somebody like Snoop and his caliber trust me with his shit.” He said “It takes a massive amount of trust to let someone like Snoop trust me with his career. I love that he gives me that trust, and I’m never going to let my bro down.”
