Simone Biles Misses Gold: Maybe It her Last Olympics

The 27-year-old Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in the Olympics bagged her last and fourth medal for the Paris Olympics 2024. Simone was the oldest woman to make it to the Olympic team since 1950. She now has 11 medals in her collection just in a span of 8 years

Simone Biles Misses Gold: The 27-year-old Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in the Olympics bagged her last and fourth medal for the Paris Olympics 2024. She lost Gold to Rebeca Andrade by 0.033 points in the floor exercise final.

Simone was the oldest woman to make it to the Olympic team since 1950. She now has 11 medals in her collection just in a span of 8 years. As the owner of 41 medals in total between the World Championship and Olympics she said after the game“I can’t be more proud of how I’ve done,” she said continues. “I’m 27 years old walking away from this Games with four medals to add to my collection. Not mad about it.”

Biles missed her fourth medal in the balance beam on Monday after she fell during her routine and was ranked fifth, one position ahead of her US teammate Suni Lee, who also fell. Biles scored 13.100 with a difficulty score of 6.200 outperforming her teammate.

Simone Biles won a total of 11 Olympic medals among which 7 were gold, 2 were silver, and 2 were bronze among which 5 of them won this Olympics.  She bagged 3 Olympics this year. The floor exercise final was her last event this year or maybe ever. It is estimated that she may not be showing up to the Olympics from now on as she is already the oldest player to be in the U.S. team for the Olympics.

Her career has been historic. Biles is a six-time  World individual all-around champion, a 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, a six-time World floor exercise champion, a four-time World balance beam champion two-time World vault champion,  a member of the gold medal-winning United States teams, he is also a four-time World silver medalist,  a three-time World bronze medalist, and a United States national nine-time all-around champion.
