Sheamus Revealed His Match with Triple H That Never Happened: Sheamus is The WWE superstar and former multi-time world champion but he has never held the Intercontinental Title.  He has many legendary matches in WWE.  His matches with the then-champion Threat Match between the trio at WrestleMania 39, Gunther, and Drew McIntyre were one of the most legendary matches WWE has ever seen.

But arguably the the Sheamus vs Gunther is the highlight of the Clash at the Castle 2022. The barbarous war was fought for almost 20 minutes and Gunther eventually won and the Intercontinental Championship of WWE was retained by Gunther.

He revealed the Legendary rivalry between him and Gunther was the idea that was first pitched to Triple H in The Pat McAfee Show. He said “The Gunther match to me is very special. That match wasn’t even supposed to happen. (WWE) was going to Wales, and at the time I wasn’t doing anything. I talked to Hunter about it, we spitballed back and forth, and then he went and made the match. I pitched that match in Wales. Fair play to him, he made it happen”

Hitman was highly critical of the match according to him the modern generation of wrestlers doesn’t know how to tell stories in the ring.
