Saint Garibdas Ji Maharaj Biography: Saint Garibdas Ji Maharaj was a spiritual leader and reformer known as Saint Garibdas Ji Maharaj. He was born in 2017 to a Dhankhar jat family in the village of Chudani in the district of Jhajjar in the Indian state of Haryana.

He had a lot of money. His own words say that his spiritual journey began when “Almighty God” Kabir met him and initiated him when he was 10 years old.
After “Almighty God Kabir” made him spiritually aware, he spoke many Banis that are now collected as the holy book Garib Das ki Granth.
There is also a Garibdas Panth. Through his Banis, Saint Garib Das Ji said that Kabir Sahib is the most important god in Satlok. Garibdas passed away in 1778, and a monument was built over his body.

Saint Garibdas Ji Maharaj Early Life, Family and Education
He was born in 1717 in the village Chhudani in the district of Jhajjar in the state of Haryana. He was born into a Dhankhar family of Jats.
His dad was called Shri Balram Ji and his mom was called Shrimati Rani Devi Ji. Garib Das Ji Maharaj’s mother lives in the village Chhudani. His dad was from the Dhankhar gotra and lived in Karontha village in the Haryana district of Rohtak.
They lived in the village Chhudani and had a daughter together, Rani Devi, who was married to Shri Balaram Ji. Shankar Ji did not have a kid. Because of this, Shri Balaram Ji was kept in the house.
Sant Garib Das Ji Maharaj Ji was born in the village Chhudani after his parents had been married for 12 years. Shri Shivlal Ji had 2500 Bighas, which is about 1400 acres of land and 2.75 times the size of a real Bigha today.
Shri Balaram was the owner to that land, and his only son, Sant Garib Das Ji, took over after him. Since he was a child, Garib Das Ji went to graze cows with other cowherds.

Saint Garibdas Ji Maharaj Later Life
In 2010, when he was 10, Saint Garib Das met Lord Kabir. This was the start of his spiritual journey. For the first time, he went to Satlok with Kabir and saw heaven.
After a while, Kabir was the only one left on the throne. Kabir sent him back to earth. After telling these stories to the people in the town, he put them all together in Garib Das’s berry garden over the course of seven months.
He became Satlok in 1778, when he was 61 years old. His followers say that in 1778, he went to Satlok. In his honor, Chhatri Saheb, a monument, was built at Chhudani and Chhatri Sahib.
Garib Das Ji Garibdas Panth is also a Kabirpanth, and the people who follow him worship his Banis. About 24,000 banis are written in the holy book Sat Granth Sahib or Amar Granth Sahib.
When Garib Das got back to Earth, he spoke many Banis that said Kabir was the most important god in Satlok.
