Pro-Palestine Protester Burned Down US Flags: After the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, hundreds of Pro-Palestine protesters showed up in Washington, D.C., and burned American flags outside the Union Station.

They took down the US national flags and put up smaller Palestinian flags in their place. While protesters who making a commotion outside the Union Station, PM Benjamin Netanyahu was giving a speech to Congress in the US capital.

As per the reports from a Park Police Captain two of the three American flags were taken down and set on fire. These protesters were so large in number that for citizens’ protection several roads around the Capitol and Union Square were closed.

As the frightening war in Gaza is still on, these protesters demanded that the US should stop sending military aid to Israel. They even burned a statue of Benjamin Netanyahu.

The U.S. Capitol Police reported that Pro-Palestine behavior was violent and they disobeyed their orders. To keep the protesters in control, police officers resorted to pepper spray.

Several videos went viral on Social Media of the clash between police and the protesters, these videos got huge attention from all over the world.

A video showed that Pro-Palestine protesters were shouting as the American flags and the effigy of Netanyahu were burned. Protestors also in Capitol Hill red even wrote messages on the walls of the buildings demanding for Netanyahu’s arrest

There were also videos of pro-Palestine protesters beating a police officer outside of Union Station.

Business Today reported that maggots were put on Netanyahu’s table at the Watergate Hotel where he was staying, and fire alarms were set off to disturb his sleep.

This happened while Netanyahu was addressing Congress for more US funding and support for Israel’s actions against Hamas and other militant groups backed by Iran.

However, several Democrats didn’t attend Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech as they were not happy with Netanyahu’s actions against Hamas.

While addressing Congress, Netanyahu said, “When we stand together, something truly great happens: we win, and they lose,” he also emphasized the importance of the US and Israel working together.
