Nine-year-old Deadpool game sells for £300: Last week after the release of the most hyped film Deadpool & Wolverine, a nine-year-old PlayStation 4 Deadpool game sold for £300($384.95).

As per the reports, fans of Deadpool are eager to get the 2015 PlayStation 4 Deadpool video game and have paid up to £116 on eBay.

Last week, the game’s unopened copy in perfect shape was selling for £330 on eBay. However, as the game is very old the digital download isn’t available anymore so if gamers want to play the game the only choice that is left is to buy it physically.

The PlayStation 4 Deadpool video game was first released in 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions and then in 2015 the game was re-released for PlayStation 4 making it difficult to get the game without paying a higher amount.

The reason for the hype in its price was because of the recently released film Deadpool & Wolverine that earned over $444m (£345m) on its opening weekend.

The film ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ which was released on July 26 featured Hollywood’s most iconic and famous actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as the main characters.

However, the game wasn’t that famous at first and also didn’t receive many great reviews.

Price Charting reported that the price of the game when it was first released was £49.99 and in 2018 the Deadpool game could have been bought for £9 but its price has increased to such an extend that it can’t be imagined.

As per the reports, the price of the game was slowly increasing when the shooting of the film began in May because of the fan craze of the film and the popularity of the main character

The game price started rising after the film’s release in July, the reports stated that the film Deadpool & Wolverine had the sixth-biggest opening weekend ever in the US.

However, the film earned around $211m in the domestic box office and $233m internationally.
