Manchester City 2-0 win over Chelsea: In Sunday’s match between Manchester City and Chelsea, Man City roared as champions and defended the Premier League title defense.

The iconic football player Erling Haaland scored his 91st goal in his 100th Manchester City F.C.

After Bernardo Silva set Haaland up, but however he forced his way between Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana and scored a nice goal past Robert Sánchez in the 18th minute.

While speaking with BBC Match of the Day, he said, “It’s gone so quick. It’s ridiculous how quick it actually goes, it’s my third season now. I’m happy, especially now after the win.”

Haaland also added, “It’s the first game back and we’re not in perfect shape, but we did a really solid performance. We just stayed calm and played, it’s amazing to see.”

“I knew exactly what to do, I think it was a really good goal. I remember last year he made a really good save against me, it had been irritating me for a long time so, yeah, it was a perfect goal.”

Former Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic scored a goal just six minutes before the time and led Man City to win their fifth straight title.

Haaland and Jérémy Doku made a lot of attempts to score more goals but were saved by Alexis Sánchez.

Chelsea made some promising offensive moves. In the 14th minute, Nicolas Jackson was stopped because of Rúben Dias’s timely intervention.

While speaking about his fights with Enzo Fernandez, Erling Haaland added, “All the time he stamps on me, he pushes me and everything, not only him. I don’t know what they want but that’s what they do I guess.”

At last, he added, “We just won the Premier League so let’s take it game by game. It’s 37 games left, let’s not forget we won the Premier League and now we have won the first game of this season. It’s amazing to have everyone back. We go from there.”
