Local SWAT Snipers reported Seeing Thomas Crooks: According to the reports, a SWAT officer noticed the gunman 2 hours before the assassination attempt took place at the Donald Trump during the election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

As per the agency reports, on July 13, a 20-year-old man named Thomas Crooks fired at Donald Trump leaving him injured on his right ear along with killing one spectator and seriously wounding two others.

Local SWAT Snipers reported Seeing Thomas Crooks 2 hours before the Assassination Attempt

ABC News reported that a text message told them that exactly at 4:26 p.m., 2 hours before the shooting, local SWAT members saw Thomas Crooks “sitting to the direct right on a picnic table about 50 yards from the exit.”

However, the text message was shared with the snipers in the area around the American Glass Research (AGR) building. The AGR building served as the holding place for local police.

The reports further stated that the sniper who spread the message that a suspicious man who was Thomas, was sulking in the area said that the gunman was already aware of the position of the snipers and also stated, “Because you see me go out with my rifle and put it in my car, so he knows you guys are up there.”

ABC News reported that the Beaver County SWAT team and their head met with them and Jason Woods, a leading sharpshooter on the SWAT team in Beaver County said, “We were supposed to get a face-to-face briefing with the Secret Service members whenever they arrived, and that never happened.”

He further stated, “So I think that was probably a pivotal point, where I started thinking things were wrong because it never happened. We had no communication.”

Jason Woods’s remarks were declined by Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi. He said, “ the agency is committed to better understanding what happened before, during, and after the assassination attempt of former President Trump to ensure that never happens again. That includes complete cooperation with Congress, the FBI and other relevant investigations.”
