Iran May Declare Itself a Nuclear Weapon State: Rep. Mike Turner, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee gave an interview on Sunday. He said Iran could declare itself as a nuclear nation by the end of this year which is 2024.

“What we see now with this administration, [Iran] might declare themselves a nuclear weapons state by the end of this year, with the reports have been- news reports have been out stating that there is a possibility,” Turner said Sunday.

James Carafano, vice president of foreign and defense policy studies for The Heritage Foundation said “I think that’s a real option. I mean if I were the Iranians and I were going to do it, I would do it now because Biden will do nothing.” he added “The Israelis are bogged down, and you’ve got months before — if Trump wins — before he comes to power, and by then you have established nuclear power and what’s going to happen. He’s not going to start World War III, right?”

Rep. Mike Turner went on blaming Biden for the situation he said “There is a possibility, with the advances that have been made under the Biden administration’s policy, that Iran could, reports are out, that Iran could declare itself a nuclear weapon state by the end of the year, if- and you would not have had that,”

The speech was an extension of Trump’s announcement that if he win the election the U.S. will have a positive relationship with Iran.

The former president noted that “they can’t have a nuclear weapon, and we were all set to make sure that they don’t have a nuclear weapon,” because once they do, he said, “it’s a whole different world.”
