Hip Hop Day History
Jamaican D.J., Kool Herc is known as the founding father of Hip Hop. When he was a teenager his father band used to play in the Bronx. Kool used to imitate Jamaican DJs. He also popularized the ‘breakbeat’ D.J. technique and he used to play funk, soul, and other genres Kool Herc and the legends of Hip Hop who led the foundation of this genre isolated and extended the breakbeat stimulating improvisational dancing.
Herc mastered the breakbeat enough till 1973 when he got the chance to perform in such a large amount of audience with the best sound system he ever worked with the star has aligned for Hip Hop to rise to Glory in his sister’s Celebration on 11th August. This success of the party was the catalyst for the birth of Hip Hop
