June 30, 2024 is the deadline for the FAFSA for the 2023–2024 school year.

It’s easy to make corrections thanks to a straightforward process.
You have until 11:59 pm Central Time on September 14, 2024, to submit corrections for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Here’s how to edit your FAFSA online:
- Log in with your FSA ID.
- Start or edit a FAFSA form for 2023-24 by selecting “Start or edit a FAFSA form for 2023-24.”
- Identify your role (student, parent, or preparer).
- Select “Make Corrections” on the “My FAFSA” page.
- If you need to access your FAFSA form later, create a save key.
- Update your information as necessary.
- Fill out the FAFSA form and submit it.
Corrections can also be made by writing them on your Student Aid Report (SAR), signing it, and mailing it to the address provided.
You should also check with your school’s financial aid office to see if they can make changes for you online.
