Cori Dionne was born in march 13, 2004. She was barely the age to go to elementary school when she held a tennis racket. Her father played college basketball at Georgia State University and later worked as a healthcare executive. She said  “I wasn’t much of a team person. I loved tennis. I was so-so about it in the beginning because when I was younger I didn’t want to practice at all. I just wanted to play with my friends. When I turned eight, that was when I played ‘Little Mo’ and after that, I decided to do that for the rest of my life.”

When she got passionate about tennis her father became her head coach when she was 10 she started training at Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in France run by Patrick Mouratoglou, the longtime coach of Serena Williams.

Coco Gauff is a former World No. 1 junior. She started playing tennis at the age of 12 initially her father was her coach until she joined Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in France run by Patrick Mouratoglou. Gauff represented the United States in at the Junior Fed Cup with Alexa Noel and Connie Ma, and they reached till finals.

Coco won her first professional match at the age of 15 in May 2018 at ITF Women’s Circuit which was also her debut. She won her first WTA Tour title in doubles with Paige Hourigan. Gauff on her team but lost the second round of qualifying at the French Open and became the youngest player to reach the main draw at Wimbledon.

Candi Gauff once said  “They’re helping me remember, you know, my clothes and everything, and my dad is still sending me scouting reports for every match. But my mom is more so, you know, just being a mom. My dad just being dad other than the scouting report part.” Both her mom and dad have been professional athletes.
