CalFresh Payment July 2024: Now that it’s July, people in California are eagerly waiting for their CalFresh payments to arrive.

People who get these payments need to know exactly when and how much they are so they can plan their food shopping for the week.
SNAP, or the government Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, is carried out in California by CalFresh. This program helps low-income people and families buy healthy food by giving them money every month.

Applicants can access these benefits through an electronic benefits transfer (EBT) card, which can be used like a debit card at participating grocery stores.
The last digit of the recipient’s case number determines when benefits are loaded onto the EBT card, with distribution taking place over the first ten days of each month.
If a recipient’s case number ends in ‘1,’ they will receive their benefits on the first of the month.

This week’s CalFresh payment schedule is as follows:
- Case numbers ending in 7 on 7th July
- Case numbers ending in 8 on July 8
- Case numbers ending in 9 on July 9
- Case numbers ending in 0 as of July 10

CalFresh Payment July 2024: How to apply?
Visit the Get CalFresh page and fill out the online application to get CalFresh. Within a few weeks, the county will call candidates to set up an interview to see if they are eligible. If you are eligible, you will get an EBT card in ten days.
You can also call (866) 613-3777 and ask to speak with someone from the California Department of Social Services (CDSS).
Make sure you have all the papers you need ready, like your ID, proof of income, and immigration status. You can log in to the Benefits Cal app to see when and how much your next CalFresh payment will be and to check on the progress of your payments.
