Burn Pit Registry: An organization called AHOBPR has been making sure that soldiers who have been in burn pits can get rewards and medical care since 2022.

In the PACT Act, there is a list of presumptive conditions and methods that have made it easier for veterans to get the benefits and care they need.
Burn pit exposure is tracked by the AHOBPR for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
You can see how your registration is going by going to the secure registration site and filling out the online survey.

What impact does registration have on my VA claim?
You don’t have to be in the list if you don’t want to be. It won’t change anything you do with the VA. In fact, registering can speed up the process of getting your disability rating and VA payments.
By filling out the registration questionnaire, you’ll be able to identify health problems and discuss them with your doctor.

The AHOBPR is recommended even if you don’t remember being in a burn pit.
Additionally, your record will help the VA better understand how burn pit exposure affects veterans’ health.
Burn Pit Registry: Eligibility criteria
You only have to present records proving that you served in one of the 30 VA-listed operations for your application to be approved if you suffer from any of the 30 presumptive conditions.
Burn pits pose a serious health risk, but with your registration, you can get the care and benefits you need to stay healthy.
