Matthew Perry Overdose Death: On Thursday, Southern California police arrested a suspect in connection with the death of star Matthew Perry from an accidental overdose.

As per the official reports, the actor Matthew Perry was found face down in the hot end of his home pool in Pacific Palisades on October 28, 2023. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office said that the cause of his death was because of the side effects of ketamine which is a drug that is used to treat pain and has psychedelic effects.

In May, Los Angeles police reported that they are working together with the federal authorities to investigate the case and find out the source of ketamine.

Ketamine drug has been a famous drug for several years. For several years, it has been a good medicine for depression for many, and many clinics give Ketamine doses or injections to treat a wide range of mental health issues.

NBC News reported that the actor Matthew Perry was receiving ketamine infusion treatment to help with his anxiety and depression but his last session was more than a week before he died.

As ketamine has a short half-life, the medical examiner said that the ketamine in Perry’s body “could not be from that infusion therapy.”

The reports further stated that he received a higher amount of ketamine in his body which is equal to what is used for general anesthesia during surgery.

At last, the doctor said that his death was an accident. Some of the things that led to the death were drowning heart artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine, an opioid use disorder drug.
