Here’s what you need to know to do that. As part of a program called the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD), the state of Alaska gives its citizens a portion of its oil income every year. In 2024, each Alaskan will receive $1,312.
PFD distributes a dividend to every eligible Alaskan each year, funded by the earnings of the Permanent Fund’s investments.
If a resident filed their application by June 12 or July 10 and was categorized as eligible-not paid, 2023’s share of the PFD was expected to be paid on June 20 and July 18.

You can check the status of your application on the myAlaska website and the myPFD portal if this hasn’t happened yet.
PFD offices are open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10:00-16:00 if they don’t feel comfortable doing this.
The museum is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
People in the area who haven’t applied for the scheme yet have until August 7 to do so. The last payments that are qualified but not yet made are due on August 15, 2024.

My PFD service will be unavailable on July 24
Due to maintenance, the myPFD service will be down for two hours on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
The PFD offices are also closed to the public on that day, so if you need to ask something about it, you should go to the office on Tuesday, July 23 between 10:00 and 16:00. If not, you’ll have to wait until Friday.
Keep in mind that myAlaska DOES NOT ask users to change their passwords through text messages or emails. Phishers and con artists often use this method to get private information.
